PV Power Station O&M from Lightning Protection-Technical Sharing by Hunan Oumaan Technology Group in Chizhou,Anhui Province,China
On 25th September 2024,the 2024 Annual Meeting of PV Power Station Intelligent Operation and Maintenance Technology and the 2023 Fault-free PV Power Station Management Achievement Conference,hosted by the Operation and Maintenance Branch of China Electric Power Technology Market Association,was held in Chizhou,Anhui Province.Faultless PV power station creation of PV power station stock assets to improve the quality and efficiency of great significance,the Association to carry out faultless PV power station management results assessment after three years,2023 rated 626 faultless PV power station management results,the results are remarkable.

Up to now,China's photovoltaic power plant installed capacity of 712.93 million kilowatts,2023,the results of the management of fault-free photovoltaic power plants accounted for only about one-tenth,a long way to go.PV power stations in the field face complex natural environments,with lightning strikes tripping the collector line towers,high grounding resistance due to the rocky structure of the substation site,and flashover problems due to condensation on the external insulation of the power supply are all troublesome problems for PV power generation.
In response to the above problems,Oumaan Technology Group representative Yang Zhibing launched a detailed analysis at the meeting and introduced four core technologies that can solve these problems.
For direct lightning disasters,HD-PLR can achieve no direct lightning in key areas(such as booster stations),completely eliminating lightning safety hazards.
For accidents such as moisture discharge and insulator creepage caused by condensation,DSAN superhydrophobic and oleophobic coating can make the surface of substrate possess water-and oil-repellent properties,preventing condensation and other factors prone to triggering electric field aberrations such as condensation on the surfaces of metal parts,insulators,and so on.This ensures the stability of operation and maintenance.
For the grounding device,flexible grounding technology can reduce the grounding resistance of the transmission line tower,reduce the grounding resistance of the substation,inhibit the ground voltage rise caused by lightning strikes,and protect the metal grounding electrode from soil corrosion.Flexible grounding technology can also be applied to water-based photovoltaic power stations to solve the problem of water corrosion of metal grounding electrodes,underwater grounding is difficult to complete.
For the problem of monitoring,HD-LDL lightning online monitoring system combines the authoritative big data in the fields of meteorology and power grid with AI intelligent algorithms to achieve early warning and accurate positioning,which greatly saves the cost of manual investigation.
