Oumaan Technology Group attended the 8th(2024)Symposium on Optimal Design and Intelligent Operation and Maintenance of Wind Farms


  On 23rd May 2024,the 8th Symposium on Optimal Design and Intelligent Operation and Maintenance of Wind Farms was held in Chongqing.The meeting was hosted by the Science and Technology Service Centre of CLP Power and co-organised by China Huadian Chongqing Company.It aims to summarise experience,promote exchanges and further improve the professional technical management level of wind farm design optimisation and intelligent operation and maintenance.

  Clean energy equipment is in the wild and faces multiple challenges from nature.Lightning releases huge energy in an instant,which is enough to trigger tripping or even damage equipment and cause fire.Therefore,professional lightning protection technology is an important guarantee for energy security.

  At the conference,Xu Bochen,General Manager of Oumaan Technology Group,shared with the participants the common lightning protection challenges and solutions during the design,operation and maintenance of wind farms.The presentation analysed the reasons for the formation of various problems related to lightning strikes in wind farms and how to rectify the factors inducing lightning strikes,put forward the five stages of lightning protection and grounding renovation works,and listed some existing misunderstandings in the field of lightning protection.For example,a qualified grounding network may not be a reasonable grounding network,and under the high-frequency impact of lightning,the value of grounding resistance will instantly rise,which is usually undetectable.Poor charge storage capacity,poor contact with the earth grounding network,even if the industrial frequency grounding resistance test is qualified,there are hidden dangers.

  Xu Bochen then introduced how Oumaan Technology Group's flexible grounding technology,plasma lightning device,hydrophobic and oleophobic nano-coatings can solve problems in real projects.Participating experts were very interested in this,and during the tea break,they came to Oumaan Technology Group booth to learn more about the details and put forward the related problems encountered by their own wind farms,and Oumaan Technology Group staff carefully analysed the problems and gave their opinions,and the meeting was successfully concluded.

  The four technologies exhibited by Oumaan Technology Group focus on solving the problems of high grounding resistance,difficult grounding in thick rock layers,tripping of transmission line lightning strikes,continuous lightning strikes that burn equipment,and corrosion of metal grounding electrodes in poor environments.Welcome the need for units to consult,use.

  It can reduce the grounding resistance at the fastest speed and keep it for a long time.By enhancing the ability of grounding network storage free charge,improve the level of grounding network impact resistance.Do lightning current high-frequency impact can still be effectively grounded.Flexible grounding technology can also prevent metal grounding electrodes from corrosion by the environment,can extend the service life of galvanised flat steel six times.

  The material used in the technology"flexible grounding body HD-R10"meets the ROHS environmental standards,safe and will not pollute the environment.

  The whole grounding network is placed underwater,and the metal grounding electrode is located in the cavity of the casing.The remaining space of the cavity is filled with flexible grounding electrode,the flexible grounding body is protected by the special casing,and the metal grounding pole is protected by the flexible grounding body.As the flexible grounding body HD-R10 is insoluble in water and isolated from oxygen,it can prevent corrosion caused by direct contact between the water body and the metal grounding electrode,HD-R10 has passed the environmental protection test at home and abroad,safe and non-polluting,and will not damage the water body to meet the requirements of ecological and environmental protection.

HD-PLR passive plasma lightning repellent device

  No flash lightning repellent measures.Using the array of multi-needle"tip-like effect",so that the protection of the target in a relatively low(i.e.safe)electric field.Excited by the thundercloud that automatically disperses high concentration of plasma,between the cloud-ground to form a leakage of"bad capacitance",the timely elimination of lightning precursor,so that the protection range will not induce lightning phenomenon.HD-PLR is easy to install,no need for power supply,and can be installed in trains and other moving targets.

  HD-LDL lightning online monitoring system

  It is mainly targeted at forestry carbon sinks,wind farms,photovoltaic power stations and other projects that cover a large area,are susceptible to lightning strikes,and are difficult to accurately troubleshoot lightning strike problems.Through intelligent monitoring and collection of data,it achieves the functions of empirical data collection and risk warning.Not only can reduce the time and cost of accident investigation,but also based on the data for accurate positioning and additional protective measures,but also real-time to give the cause of the problem,targeted transformation.It can be used in conjunction with flashover and PLR lightning repeller.
