  From July 2 to 4,2025,the 2025 Wind Power Operation and Maintenance Quality Management Group Activity On-site Presentation and Exchange Conference was held in Chizhou,Anhui Province.The conference aimed to advance the intelligent,efficient,and standardized development of wind power O&M.It featured on-site presentations and evaluations of 369 outstanding achievements from the 2025 Quality Management Group Activities for Wind Power O&M and Maintenance.These diverse and distinctive accomplishments encompassed:presentations on new technologies,products,and processes for wind power O&M maintenance;and on-site presentations and evaluations of the 2025 Quality Management Group Activity Achievements in Wind Power O&M Maintenance.

  As an association vice-chair unit and the Power Industry Lightning Protection Technology Service Center,Oumaan Technology Group attended this conference.General Manager Xu Bochen elaborated on the critical importance of lightning protection in wind power operations and maintenance,sharing solutions for wind farm lightning protection.

  Xu Bochen emphasized that rational lightning protection upgrades involve neither grounding network resistance reduction nor merely replacing or adding surge arresters,nor simply installing additional lightning rods.Instead,it requires a unique,targeted comprehensive management plan.He then introduced several proven technical approaches in lightning protection:

  For direct lightning strikes,the HD-PLR plasma lightning rejection device eliminates direct strikes in critical areas(e.g.,substations),completely removing lightning safety hazards.

  For accidents caused by condensation-induced wet discharge and insulator tracking,DSAN superhydrophobic and oleophobic coatings impart water-and oil-repellent properties to substrate surfaces.This prevents condensation and other factors that distort electric fields on metal components and insulators,ensuring stable operation and maintenance.

  For grounding systems,flexible grounding technology reduces ground resistance in transmission tower foundations and substations,suppresses lightning-induced counter-strike tripping,and protects metal grounding electrodes from soil corrosion.This technology also addresses challenges in floating solar power plants,such as water corrosion of metal electrodes and difficulties in underwater grounding.

  Addressing monitoring challenges,the HD-LDL Lightning Online Monitoring System integrates authoritative big data from meteorological and power grid domains with AI algorithms.This enables advance warnings and precise location identification,significantly reducing manual inspection costs.
