Deep Exchange,building safety barriers-In-depth dialogue between lightning protection experts in the power industry and China Railway Changsha Design Institute
On 20 November,Mr Xu Jian,head of the Lightning Protection Technical Service Centre of the electric power industry and Chairman of Oumaan Technology Group-Heilongjiang Hengdian Lightning Protection Engineering Co.,Ltd.led a team to China Railway Changsha Municipal Planning and Design Institute to start the technical exchange of lightning protection.
At the meeting,Mr Zhang Bofeng,technical director of Hengdian Lightning Protection,firstly introduced the lightning protection mechanism and application of flexible grounding technology,and highlighted the importance of this technology to enhance the impact resistance of the ground network.Afterwards,experts from Changsha Planning and Design Institute asked questions about the principle of the role played by HD-R10 in the ground network and showed interest in the HD-PLR passive strong ionisation plasma lightning protection device.Experts from Changsha Planning and Design Institute said that many old districts need to be renovated to use lightning protection measures with larger protection radius,and the space for grounding renovation is also much narrower,which requires grounding technology with obvious resistance reduction effect.
The two sides discussed the application of flexible grounding technology and PLR plasma lightning repellent technology in civil buildings,observed the moulded flexible grounding electrode model on the spot,and observed the appearance structure of HD-PLR from a close distance.
