Sichuan Mountainous Area Line Tower Lightning Protection And Grounding Project Case
I.Project Background
State Grid Sichuan ultra-high voltage company Ya'an branch of the jurisdiction of the 500kV Jiu Shi one or two lines,Long Shi line,Shi Ya one,two,three or four lines,Dajiang one or two lines along the mountains,across a number of micro-terrain,micro-meteorological region,line corridor lightning activity is extremely frequent,some points of soil resistivity is high,the terrain is complex,the lowering of the resistance is more difficult.
II.The project implementation route
1,Collection of statistical transmission line information(lightning parameters,line parameters,historical faults,etc.);
2,Transmission line lightning protection calculation and lightning flashover risk assessment;
3,According to the risk assessment results combined with the line operation,put forward the principle of lightning protection and grounding transformation;
4,Select targeted measures according to risk determinants and characteristics of lightning protection measures;
5,Remediation measures of pole grounding network with flexible grounding technology as the core;
6,flexible grounding electrode pole tower grounding remediation site implementation;
7,The overall benefits of the project analysis.
III.Remediation measures
1,Lightning protection and grounding new technology-flexible grounding network
Designed by Oumaan Technology Group to flexible grounding technology as the core of the tower grounding network includes:tower base grounding ring network,tower base equipotential ring,grounding rays,flexible grounding electrode,flexible grounding electrode poured with the natural combination of horizontal grounding body,a one-time reaction to the formation,and jointly participate in the formation of a flexible grounding electrode based on the lightning protection grounding structure and construction methods.
2,New lightning protection measures--No fire flexible grounding remediation heating measures
Oumaan Technology Group optimises and improves the formula of flexible earthing body for the fire prevention requirements in mountainous forest areas(some time periods are fire-banning period,and the site cannot be heated by fire),and successfully achieves the heating measures of flexible earthing remediation without fire during the fire prevention period.
3,New lightning protection measures-grounding line without fire connection measures
Because of the mountain forest fire prevention requirements,some time periods for the fire ban,not allowed to use welding welding operations.Combined with the national standards for grounding wire connection regulations and the actual situation on site,the implementation of parallel groove wire clamps and hot tin process combined with the grounding wire without fire connection measures.
IV.Previous lightning protection and grounding results re-examination
On the 2017-2020 flexible grounding remediation part of the pole tower excavation found flexible grounding electrode jelly-like shaped like the beginning,wrapped grounding round steel surface galvanising layer can be seen basically intact,no signs of corrosion.
V.Conclusion
1,The use of flexible grounding electrode on mountainous areas of 500kV transmission line tower grounding network after the completion of remediation,the tower grounding resistance qualification rate of 100%,the average reduction in grounding resistance of 82.62%!
