Hunan Oumaan Technology Group Co., Ltd. has been deeply rooted in the lightning protection industry for 20 years. We are dedicated to researching lightning protection and grounding technologies for transmission lines, substations, and new energy power generation projects. The group has established in-depth cooperative relationships with renowned research institutions and universities, including the State Grid Electric Power Research Institute, China Southern Power Grid Electric Power Research Institute, Harbin Institute of Technology (HIT), Huazhong University of Science and Technology (HUST), and Beijing University of Technology.
Oumaan's independently developed flexible grounding electrode technology has effectively solved the long-standing challenges of high grounding resistance and lightning-induced tripping in high-resistivity regions,such as mountainous areas and the Gobi Desert.Over the years,the company has successfully implemented numerous lightning protection and grounding retrofit projects for power grids and new energy generation facilities across China,achieving remarkable and reliable results that have earned widespread acclaim within the industry.
The company's key milestones include:providing lightning protection technical support for the national key project"Tianqin Project"in 2020;becoming the lightning protection engineering partner for CCTV's Entrepreneurship program in 2022;obtaining the Certificate of Scientific and Technological Achievements from Zhonggaoke in 2023;and winning the First Prize of the"Golden Bridge Award"from the China Technology Market Association,the CEC Electric Power Innovation Award,and an award at the Geneva International Invention Exhibition in 2024.In the same year,Oumaan participated in compiling the China National Standards Association standard T/CAS 997-2024(Technical specification for measurement of grounding system electrical parameters).In 2025,serving as the primary drafting unit,Oumaan compiled T/CMEPCA123-2025(Technical specifications for lightning protection of power transmission and transformation facilities in high-altitude areas),and was officially recognized as a High-tech Enterprise and a Technology-based SME in Hunan Province. At the end of 2025, Oumaan, as a standard drafting unit, compiled the group standard Technical code for flexible grounding electrode (T/CEEMA 02001-2026).
